My brother won a free Valentine's dinner at Shivz in Bangsar Baru from Voizce Valentine Contest.

But everything was last minute.

i was telling Batu bout how i should spend my V's day at home, refrain from all the lovey dovey stuff and watched re-runs of Texas chainsaw till i puke. in the end, everything was unexpected.

where to get a dining partner?
aha...JASMINE~~ to celebrate single-hood.

According to the owner, the restaurant is less-than-a-month years old. we were the earliest desperado waiting for our dinner.

dark ambiance. candle-light. langsung not for us the only two girls there.

her drink. lime soda. i settled for white wine.

appetitizers

soups (creamy mushroom, and tomato)

salads in dessert cup. fyi, our friend, Jasmine here doesn't do vege. so everything green, pepper-ry, yours truly is responsible to finish them off =)

dory fish in lemon grass (signature dish for the restaurant), and chicken breast in mushroom sauce.

i hate mint. perhaps it's that or the course is coming to an end that we couldn't finish this.

wrapping up with dessert and coffee. the only thing bout this is most probably the half-ed berry on top.
make do with the dark atmosphere and settle for black-white photo.

V's day could be the sweetest day of the year and could be the most sour.

After fine dining, we decided to dropby (literally cause I need his help to get home) Cheras.
and I was too tipsy to remember the name of the restaurant.
my vivid memory tells me it sounds something like "Gillie".
All I could remember is it's at a corner and it took me some stumbling with the help of Jasmine to get there.

i am sorry. this comeback is about my work.

My first month was in DIS (Drug Information Service) whereby i received calls from doctors to answer their doubts. This will involve not the daily conversation but indirectly of a method of conveying messages so that you don't brush too hard on their ego-ness

months after months i will be rotating around different department in a hospital and each department has different uniqueness to it..yet to explore
but i had my dose of Outpatient department, where it's like World War III minus the guns, grenades, and missiles.
It was ewwish and head-banging..

there are times when i ~~doubt~~ whether i suit this job.
times when i see patients worn out half-dead on bed, helpless.
times when i am alive and
the pain of reality hitting hard and cold.
feeling totally helpless after u are done with what u think u could have.

anyway, i know every work has their very own edges to it.
but mine so far is gotta be risking bringing germs back to home, yes, HOME..
i was once in a ward of pneumonia and Tuberculosis patients.
but i went home absent-minded and ate off the table..
so far for my unhygienic habit

Pasta and drama

Pasta de Gohan
recently hit our shore. after ermm..
about 10 outlets in our neigbouring country, Singapore. 6 WARAKU & 4 PASTA de WARAKU
(i still dont understand why ours is Pasta de Gohan and others are "WARAKU")

Japanese Pasta? When you hear that, you’ll first think about udon, soba or even ramen, but I'm actually talking about Italian pasta, just done with a different hand. I'm lacking the true Italian culinary experience. Personally, typical Japanese pasta usually lands itself at least in the flavor category, near the top.

From outside, the arrays of plates 90 degrees up for viewing purposes is an advertisement itself. this is actually a cool idea, i mean, you have something to expect when you ponder through the menu later.
Walking in, you'll see a much wider range of their menus.

we did not eat much. the Menu was sober.
most of the items were "out of stock" or "coming soon".
it spoils the whole purpose of the food sample wall cabinets..

after making decisions as if you are choosing husbands, you enter happily decided what you want from the cabinet, having to open the Menu and they DO NOT serve that particular dish you had been fancied, then you have to waste another half an hour to decide from the Menu. not because you are spoiled of choices this time, but there are just so many things unserved, which will makes you wonder whether the served ones are those stale bad ones.

I am not that patient compliant when it comes to food

we decided to opt for the package meant for 2. missed out the drink cause i was darn pissed with the Menu AND the Service. i have to drag my ass out and called the waitress who definitely prefers to cater to the opposite sex

start off with soup. creamy and cheesy. don't really like it. too cheesy...Jasmine, my dinner date, being a cheese-lover heart it though.

since i dont fancy too-cheesy stuff, and Jasmine is not a vege-person, the salad was all to myself.
well, it taste like...salad.

What's different about pasta from Japan? Already being a noodle and rice culture, the pasta is usually cooked perfectly, al dente, maybe just for the sake of being able to say those Italian words.

mine. i realised through this post i failed to write a satisfying post. i did not jot down the name of the pasta.

hers. with half-cooked egg which she poked and spread it evenly.

i love my pasta naked. without sprinkle of cheese. and the dish itself is cheesy enough.

she loves her with lotsa of cheese. and basically swallow the whole bottle of Parmesan powder..
so all in all, she is eating more cheese than spaghetti.

the service flops and ironically, we were just sitting below the big board that states their policy

so much so for the policy eh

all in all. i would still recommend since well, Singaporean love their Waraku and so should we. so that they can open up more branches here.

eons ago. but hey, at least i am gonna write about it here.
better late than never.
i realise my memory is running short and my blogging initiative is running dry after viewing various good blogs (low self-esteem kicking in)

here goes nothing

when you travel on the bus, the disadvantage is you are always in the middle of nowhere.
unless you asked, then you are going to be told off you are in the middle of somewhere
and...
u woke up from lil nap jotted up and suddenly you are at the fun-park--Janfusun

being a safe player, of course we went for the most steady ride, well, as we thought--the Ferris Wheel.

it wasn't safest after all. above the clouds, even the slightest movement could rock the cabin.
it was until the height where clicking on the camera could strike a squeal

afterwards, we sit as silently as possible. until we finally reach the ground. frankly speaking, the moment my foot touch the ground, i have the urge to kiss it.

the park itself wasn't much an amusement. i wouldn't wanna recommend it to anybody who is heading to TW any soon. and to think that we waste a day and a night there...

acrobatic show, not by your typical China folks. i suspect them being Russians.

it was just basically "ooo" and "ahhh" but it did not leave enough impression.
except..

for the "Wall Runners" dressed in leopard prints.."Wall Runners" is a personal term since their pull a wondrous performance of running up and down walls doing stunts.

during the night, my virgin "Ah-Gua" show not in Thai, but of all places, in Taiwan, imported from Thai

one of the ~~guys~~ ermmm...girls..i suspect she took Leah Dizon's and asked her doctor to perform exactly as the prototype

at "Ah-Gua" show, you have to treat your customers right by having the best entrance welcome. make it warm, sexy, naughty so that your customers will feel at home. the saying "home sweet home" don't go for nothing.

The next day. (i lost counts of the days since it was quite long ago but i knew it was towards the ending of the trip)
in the bus. again..

the "taufu street" (for you bananas and non-Chinese), taufu is soya.
rough translation "Soya street"
the whole street is made of soya. you can kneel down and eat off the street.
taufu is a staple here. they are more important than rice.

i just recovered from my diarrhea and vomit syndrome.

it was too nasty that I can even sit upright for 40 minutes to watch a drama. I slumped and lied down whole day

and i came home with mom questioning me "why didn't u buy this and that??"

while the politics are swarming the paper right now, obviously we, the normal ones, would want our fair piece of an ordinary life.

being too ordinary myself, i am actually in the DRY SEASON of blogging

a few days ago, i got to know, a second degree friend (Hwa Yi-Jien) was nowhere to be found since his hiking tour in Glacier National Park, Montana US
Though, we don't really know each other, sometimes when u hear things happening to even a second or third or whatever degree friends, it will somehow have an undesirable impact on us..

and oddly, i am sadden

pray hard for his family members. It doesn't matter to what God or religion you are in, as long as you prayed, somehow ur prayers will be heard..

This book is all about a mother's love. unconditional. unbounded. a love that last a lifetime and beyond. and yes, love you even if you lie on the streets with the rest of the world spitting on u
This is a story of a man who gets the chance to spend one more day with his mother, who died 8 years earlier.

Cherish the moments before they're gone.You come away with a desire to pay closer attention to the world around you and what you have. Not to mention the desire to go and hug your mom, just in case

Read it if you are a parent.
Being a child once gives more reasons for u to read this.
The English is as simple as it gets. I love this book for being precisely descriptive.

p/s: my advice is:don't read it at night. i wouldn't want anyone to get puffy eyes the next day. enjoy, my fellow muffins..

it's weekend. i hate to spend my time rambling on unnecessary matters.
i will rather to sit through my Mitch Albom's For One More Day..
but i have to do justice to those in my field- drugs..
(plus i just read a disturbing entry from a medical student saying how great is doc and so so)

first, the formal attire.
all through my 4years course, our head of the school often EMPHASIZED (a.k.a forced) us to wear formal. formal formal. and formal. *yawn

i always believe in university students life as a space for breaking rules, enjoying to the last, have fun (note: REGARDLESS of whatever course you are in, yes even if u are in so said oh-prestigious medical course *roll eyes*)

hence, all through 4 years, we had lecturers standby daggers on our back all the time...

which afterwards, ~~they gave up lo and let us be~~
95% of my mates break rules, the 5% dressed so, not because bounded by rules but because of their nerd nature..

i am a person deeply inspired by ruggart-beggar-alike-yet-smartest-ass doctors on dramas/movies.
to note some examples, Meg Ryan in City of Angels (i don't know about u but the part where she cycled rushing to the hospital and music-blasting operation room are so ~~DROP DEAD cool~~)
i did consider becoming a doc purely due to that less-than-5min scene

sometimes you dont really need to dress up typically FORMALLY to show that u have the brain. however i have to agree on the part "dressing to give better first impression"

hopefully the impression that follows after first will be as good too..

second, i quoted from this medical student

joining a medical school becoming a doctor is like joining an exclusive club.( This is my feeling) All the Profs, Docs, Lecturers all said the same thing: we are different. we etc etc etc.... I wonder do other courses said the same thing?

and "we are different?!" wahh, how different??(don't wanna address her as doctors as i will prolly accidentally drag those really nice nice doc out there) . you have extra supernatural gift to make the dead alive and magic hand to cure leprosy? or your shyt smells better than us, the not-so-different ones? so that indirectly puts u in the "high society"??

fyi, the doctors i knew are all the coolest among cool..and no, they DO NOT like to be different for they will not be able to reach out, and no, they DO NOT like to belong in exclusive clubs for they like to blend in with the "commoners" like us, Your Highness..

and no, my course never said the same thing, i am sure nor does nurses or as a matter of fact, other courses. our lecturers just taught us on the best way to help the society even to the extend of stooping to the lowest to TRY and reach all (poor/rich)...NOT teaching us to PRETEND and ACT like "we are different"

it is NOT a big deal if you are a doctor. it is a big deal if at the end of the day, a patient walks out alive and healthy from your service, smiling with gratitude and brags about how great u are around the town. that is satisfaction

p/s: the above post do not necessary meant all the doc out there. but to those who thinks being medical students itself is the world..

it's not ur average "once upon a time.." and "she is the most beautiful in the land" and "oh here comes the Prince who saves the day"...and the sickening ending of all "...and they lived happily ever after" (did i mention that before?hmm)
then u watch the second time, u are staring blankly then the next thing u know, u are damn heck burning the DVD and smashing the screen.
the only thing that stopped me from throwing that chair at the ~~new flat-screen~~, is my dad's cold stare

at the end of the day,after all those royalty feast, u feel guilty but that's all...

Personally, as a health-care practitioner, i tried many other detoxifying products but all of them bind me down to a long-term program which needs a lot of determination.

to my ultimate dismay, everybody write a good post on food entry.
and most of the time, i dont ask that much of Q or bother to find out, just stuffing myself silly.

well, i decided to start off with official food post now.~~my first again~~
let me start off with food from my hometown, Sarawak (yeah, that place famous for Bujang Senang and what not, btw, we dont live on trees).
i am Sibu, Sarawak-bornt but never been around for long. just 2-3 times per year home trip. that's all

my first-stop after plane ride. ALWAYS. my mom eats in this place since her teens, i eat this for more than 20yrs. i started eating this before i suck my milk bottle. very nostalgic place.

the man who is behind all the stunt. Usually his son will be the one handling the wok, which ermmm has a little slight deviation to his cooking skill. i was lucky to have the Daddy aka Master instead....woo hoo~~

"Diang Miang Ngu"(鼎边糊). made of flour and that roundish thingy is actually home-made fish balls. u can actually opt for only fish-balls which i usually do and dig for my brother's "Diang Miang Ngu" instead. -_-

hey, i like fish-balls. the all-fish balls. excuse my grandma sour face. i just got off the god-damn 2 hrs plane ride early morning ma..

the cream soda. step aside coke and pepsi.

how to make Diang Miang Ngu. this roller here, my friend, is the main ingredient. if u have nth to do and decided to break in and steal this roller, u are stealing the life of Diang Miang Ngu

"Kam Buan" noodles (干捞面)....
it's cheap, delicious, simple, fast..
however,it's non-halal (sorry, my Muslim pals)..
i seldom eat this when i am there cause usually my mom will "ta-pao" (English: take-away, Malay: bungkus) 20+ packets, bring it here to Semenanjung and it's still hot after 2 hrs of flight.

the white noodles (w/o soya sauce), there is another type with soya sauce.

next, i skipped "Kam Buan" noodles when i am in Sarawak, cause i need to save some space for this (below)..it's soupy and i cannot "ta pao" it back right

cannot be found in West Msia. "char ju" noodles. it's the way of cooking that put it a level above the normal noodles here in West Msia.

FINALLE....

must soak. or else it's so hard and chewy it makes baguette runs home to France in shame.
"Kom Biang" (光饼).
made using lard,onion and salt plus sesame seeds on top..then stuff with meat slapped onto sides of homemade traditional Chinese oven served with that special dark gravy. i like to soak it up. it is something like donuts/ bagels to Western but this is our very own Eastern favor.

my way of eating. soak till lembik (English: soft and mushy) and topped it up with chilli sauce.

the best "Kom Biang" can be found in Chung Hua Road. it's an old shop interconnected to house. really really old school.
my dad ate it everyday after school last time, riding bicycle from school and it's the only thing that he looked forward to every morning when he woke up.
and of course, must have is red bean+milk concoction.

so delicious u can forget ur way home.

(note: the names are rendered in the Fuzhou dialect which is obviously radically differ from Standard Mandarin)

hence, i shall end my first post on food. sorry if i dont do good on all the explaining. there is definitely room for improvement. common,be nice and gimme a chance~~

She who meant so much to me. the way she grasps my hand the moment she off work. never to let go, holding my hand as if i was still that innocent little gal who used to sit naked on her laps.

she holds my hand when crossing busy roads.
she offers to get the meat off the crab, worry that i might get choke off.
giving me directions from time to time when i was sight-seeing around the city, afraid that i might get lost and end up in Johor Bahru.

She had tonnes of ice-creams, 100plus, all my other fav stand-by in her fridge days before.
She is the only one who laughed me silly yet still supply RM10 ice-cream imported from Germany every morning for my breakfast and holds my hand despite weird stares from passer-by. (please la, who licks ice-cream at 8am in the morning)
She is the only one who can get me to stuff durians+rambutan+fish head hotpot+ rice+ ramen regretless and shameless down my throat at 12am in one night. (now, that is how my extra 2kg came from)

i could sense her loneliness.

there is nothing worst in life to know that u cant do anything at all for someone who holds so dear. feeling helpless never seems so bad before.

the day i left, the moment i saw her back walking away from me, i cried. my weakness is the back view of a person.
i am definitely coming back for her~
i swore the immigration officer saw my puffy blood-shot eyes. cause she patted my hand.

i knew him through blog-hopping. and he is the last person that i expect to hang out with during my stay. seriously. why would he bother to meet up? we only knew each other for less than a week. he has his life too. anyway, cut the crap. we met up finally.
the first time i met him, i was 5-10 min late. sweaty, smelly, dragging my tired feet, smeared mascara or was it the black eye-bags. Anyway, i am pretty sure i left bad first impression.

based on his description in text, "i'm wearing green+black specs+exit 4+burger king"..i was chanting, okay, green shirt green green black specs, all the way up to the exit. i saw Burger King and there he was, squatting and reading newspaper.

i somehow knew right then he is nice. and no, fyi, i dont judge by the cover. most of my books had bad covers yet they provide the best read around :)

he called me "Roses" so that, i gotta set right. my name is Rose.
(yeah, that bud with red petals which u guys, love to give up to ur gals as an appreciation of love. need i say more, for crying out loud)

the life that he had been through sounds impossible to me before.
like how a young child would look up to elder sibling, i asked him thousand and one questions. traveling and back-packing etc
basically, there were alot of first time for me when i was w him.

i had my joss-sticks burnt, fortune/fate read, first ever mango desserts, and of course, first ever person that i knew through cyber that meet up. it was everything that i had.
he took everything seriously even blogging. he gives a damn about what his readers think of his entries. ~~i think he might be the next KennySia~~
i enjoyed his companionship so much so that we met up again on the second day.

we separated when i got on the bus home to my aunt's.
he will be starting off with his official job next monday, tomorrow la duh~~
give him lotsa love, shower him with lucks. :)

I tried my best to meet up with PohAngPeng. The girl who taught me so much from being a timid Mandarin-speaking girl to who am I right now (before, i only dare to speak mandarin, after meeting her, there were few occasions people thought I am pure banana--a Chinese who can only speak English).
We only knew each other for 2years back in Brunei around 1997. We shared too much it wouldn't do our friendship justice if I had to pen everything down here.
I left Brunei crying and I truly believe true friendship will and do surpass everything.

We didn’t meet up though. Manage to grab her over the line. The excitement of hearing her voice after decades, I was totally speechless. Somehow, I left Singapore with thousands endless possibilities of doing fun stuff with her.
Islands. MOS burgers. Talking about boys. Gossiping about our bosses. etc~damn it, i gotta list it down

Singapore trip definitely set me to a different perspective of thoughts.

i love her to bits. every last lick of an ice-cream in summer. despite all the odds, i looked up to her. a woman with much passion for work..she had came far. i am glad we are blood-related

I believe every journey ends off with something and embark with something new and better, always.

a friendship that perhaps might uphold itself few decades down the lane. it is usually too early to assume. in the above picture, i am trying to pout so that my face appears much smaller

I truly has faith that whatever history/background a person might had been through, it is to be proud of and well-respected. a man with history is a man well-molded.

everybody has their own story to tell. life is to be respected.
to live is to be a student forever.

working life definitely changes a person.
even though i am just filling in for a part-time position.
i learn and see different things everyday.
some succeed to stay in the warmest spot, some will make any beings wince in disgust.

a doctor (experienced lookalike with old hair, huge specs and stuff) prescribed Xanax/alprazolam, controlled medicine meant for anxiety disorder, he wants it for travel sickness -_- so that he can doze off peacefully throughout the whole journey.
it certainly makes u wonder, if a patient complains of a headache, imagine what he will prescribe.

a father came in today.
asking for antifungal for his 15yo kid undergoing chemotherapy
(which means kiddo has cancer, u fool)
it sets u thinking, what was i doing when i was 15yo.
~~i didnt even know what is 'pubic hair' back then, alright~~

a mother came in earlier this morning.
asking medicines for her 23yo boy who met terrible accident that left him paralyze, possibly for the lifetime.
again, 23yo, an age with thousands of dreams waiting..a greedy age
shattered in one day. prolly setting him to rethink n rearrange his life again. prolly, not daring to dream any higher.
23 yo becomes an age of gratitude, for just being alive.

stuff like this definitely give my mind some thinking exercise.

Taiwan trip has been an eye-opener.

this is what greeted us when we woke up the next morning in the golf resort.
as usual, morning breakfast buffet style (honestly, we spent all 6 days during entire trip having buffet as breakfast that i am starting to get sick of buffet and making choices)

leaving on the bus to a remote area full with greens and mountains and a small river.
it looks almost like a scene jumping out from those ancient Chinese movies.
the scenery there serves as a good back-drop.

that is just part of it. soon later, we saw a temple faraway above the hill...

now, i was so sure that there gotta be some movies that i watched before with this sceneries. like "crouching tiger hidden dragon" or prolly, "heroes"..those movies where u see ppl flying here and there, with swords, men with long flocks, waving madly in air, and then u see those "7 stars-maiden" emerging from heaven etc..

so what else..take photos la, so that i can brag "hey, that is where i went. looks normal nia that place....dunno why ppl like it as back-drop"..
then after done with camwhoring there, we decided to disturb others cam-whoring session (coz we feel our cam-whores thrones are being threaten). so..

we were sitting back-to-back with him. having Angeline's high-sensitivity to camera, we found out the boys were posing behind. spontaneously, we turned. He didnt realise it until few days later.

the Amis aborigine style..

rice stuffed in bamboo. lemang-style. but it taste alright. the gals did not finish this due to some weird unexplainable taste. i finished mine.

the shark. yeah, u heard right. we double-confirmed. i had fins before but not really the meat. the white layered part is gooey..

ZHI-BEN's hot spring. it was one of the anticipated destinations. we brought our swimming suits along, we ate pills to delay monthly-period for this. this is taken from our room. after dinner, we had to walk around.
the rule is that: not to immerse in hot spring right after meals or before meals. u gotta wait 30min after meals. but once u are in the natural hot springs, u can only do it for 15-30min. being our first, we damn shiok, stayed inside for long enuf to get us dizzy.
the whole town is based on natural hot-spring. it's kinda remote and small, nothing much to see. (town picture later, in my another camera la). except u get smoky effects every now and then. got heat-smoke coming out from longkang de okay..

we slept off straight that night. prolly coz we were too dizzy.

next, the Hakka village. blardy la, i dunno how to speak Hakka. my mandarin also cacat-ed.so how? dont talk la.."limbeh beh hiao kon"..so shut up and take photos, look like a tourist ma. compliment w my dark skin, sure they think i am from Africa, an African non-Chinese. yeah, that works.

while we are busy doing our tourist routine. Ray is pretending to read some Chinese literature books at a nearby cafe.

most of the local taiwanese are Buddhists.

hence, we head off to the next big humongous temple.

it's so huge it's a city itself. so huge that it has a "franchise" in USA (the branch is known as Hsi Lai Temple, 西來寺). which later i found out, it spread it's branches all over the world (from Asia to Africa). the temple in taiwan is Fo Guang Shan (佛光山) <-- click to read. bombastic rite. better than Xi-Lai Xi-Lai..like housewives like that.
back to this temple. they even have schools inside that cater globally. well, we didnt meet Master Hsing Yun.

the 2 non-black-shirt boys are vegetarian devoted Buddhists. as we made our way up.

i believe Buddhist readers know wad is this. and if u are not buddhist, it's a common sight to be found in Malaysia temples. if u still dunno, blame ur ignorance la hor..

it was blardy hot alright. if i let 10min of sun exposure, i will make blacks look fair.

if u are chinese-literate, congratulation.those who dunno, in canto it's "wui tao shi on". u read frm right to left ya. note our poses. if u dont get it, blame ur own baka-ish, okay....lembab~~slow~~

as i said, that day was temple-day. we had our third temple. 5 min from the dragon-tiger's mouth.

i was too sien ady..damn sun. damn wind. i stopped snapping away.
DINNER TIME

it was sumptuous. appetizing. half of the reason prolly is due to the walking around whole day under the hot sun. we smelled of sweats. dinner was at this air-conditioned restaurant. spilt to groups. our table-mates: Daniel (black shirt), my two girlfriends, and a couple.

BBQ style on the table and steamboat combo. we can call anything off the menu, somehow it's included in the our tour $. no more pictures la, busy stuffing ourself liaw~~
of course, being a malaysian, we ordered the most expensive stuff la..(scallops, abalone mushrooms, etc)
but our smexy Ray is the greediest of all. leftover beef, fishes, and pork. -_-

final stop of the night before settling in for shopping..the "Ai He" roughly translated "love river".

we didnt wanna waste our time beside a normal-looking river while waiting for an one-hour-boat-ride along the ordinary river.

requested to check-in hotel and get a cab, SHOPPING LOOOOO~~

p/s: i am a Catholic. going to temples do not mean that i am a sinner, u hypocrite. it doesnt make me feel less Catholic either. sometime visiting these places expose u to others living in the same globe as u and me. respect their religion. bless ur ignorance.

T-town (Love 1)

i would like to start with "China Airline sucks big time". we were seated right behind the butt of the plane, having the stench from the closest toilet. there is barely enough space for us to stretch our legs. it's either the airline only caters to ppl with short legs or all three of us (same height) are just plain too tall.

upon arrival plus a few minutes of wait for the bus, we were greeted by

the infamous taiwan trademark. but this is not sexy as promised in TV. (we saw more sexier along the way).
there aint much to do since we arrived around evening.
and having airport at an outskirt area, there isnt much place where u can hang out. so we just settle in for the day.

THE NEXT DAY (day 2)
we have Tour guide (TG=local who will show us around town) and Tour leader (TL=Msian who is the head of the tour tribe). TL is known by the name of Ray throughout my posts (which stands for Raymond la, basket) to avoid confusion. we had 26 ppl in the tribe. three of us are among the youngest. and there were another 3 boys. well, u can imagine the rest of the tribe.

so after buffet-style breakfast at the hotel, we left for the train station heading to their i-forgot-place but it's historical which symbolize freedom.

after the train journey, we had our serving of their MRT..

it was so busy i almost thought i was in Japan. people just walk walk walk walk walk and WALK..as if there is no tomorrow. sure a sight to be seen since we cant find any of that, even in the busiest city in malaysia.

officers here are damn paranoid of us stepping over the "yellow line" while waiting for the MRT. if u stand 15cm close to the line, they will start blowing their irritating whistle till u step back.
we were beeped a few time till we got fed up. well, one of us being a challenge-lover decide to PROVOKE him

our ride. notice our boredom at the side. we massaged each other. the joy of tour-buddies.
we reached here lo. dunno the name of the place. self-explanatory photo

nothing to brag about when we were here. umbrella is a must if u go during summer time. it was blardy hot we half-wished we are back in malaysia.

next, we head off to "Jiu Fen". my favourite place. it was so gorgeous. the seas the mountains the houses the trees. it was all love at first sight. MINUS the journey there. it was torturous. long winding roads that beats Genting Highland.

our lunch. to the most right, mine. fishballs. saving spaces for hopefully, something better later while wondering around.

next stop for snacks.

mine. ice cream made from the black liquid oozed out from squids. yucky yes, but are u gonna waste prolly once-in-a-lifetime trip to worry bout something so minor?!?! anyway, it was yummy. i had mine w a mix of mint. note the green stuff among the black cream. the other 2 gals had local sausages.

next stop is the ice cream (again!) wrapped in popiah-lookalike skin. it was well-known as i heard from Charmaine who actually bother to research before-hand. while she was fulfilling her duty as Buddhist in a nearby temple. me n Angeline fulfilled ours too--EAT. the process:

that huge brown cube is actually peanuts. she ground peanuts to powder form and spread it on the popiah-skin. it's so thin, u cannot actually see the skin here.

digging off ice-cream. doing it the old-school way. yam and pineapple flavored.
and finally....no more picture coz i was busy pigging...however, i had someones'

there u go...ice-cream topped w a chick.

we had our 20 min-stop by a beach (coz the TG is sensitive enough to note that he has camwhores on board)

afterwards, we had the biggest aboriginal tribe, the Amis, dancing for us (duh..coz we paid)
being together w a camwhore taught me a few lessons too: to snaps and do not let chances flow by.so...

he seek attention too by making irritable noise while us, gals snap away w his tribe-mates.

i "cleaned" documents in my laptop
cant believe i have these around for almost a year.
took most of this using my handphone.
not very good quality.
due to her husband job, most of the time, we will be mixing around young young ~~irritating~~ boys

it happens that the one i enjoy talking most is the bald monk.

camera and being a camwhore is an international language itself. when i snapped out camera/hp, everybody will be ready will multiple poses which sometimes can b quite irritating especially when i meant to take photos of something else.

@Kaori's house. when half-way typing my mail, buggers came in and snatch it away. the other fella smiled when he knew that i was snapping this as proof. >_<

i went back to my old pharmacy to get some supplement for Mom
and decided to drop by the pharmacist office
with NO other intention

apparently, my face ooze laziness as instantly he offered me a job.
without even asking..
he is worried about my financial income for the next 3 months.

hence, this is where my supplement shopping spree lead to.
i land myself a part time with nice cool boss.

i love this drama, anime alot.

to make it easier...i will refer tw vr as "meteor garden" (out of all, this stupidest name) and jp vs as HYD which stands for Hana yori dango.

i gave my first to the "meteor garden" starring F4...Jerry Yan as the main cast.
the drama got me so pissed off, that i tear bloods due to frustration..
after i managed to struggle thru the drama, i swear ever n ever not to watch hana yori dango.
i banned whether it's taiwan vr. or japanese vr.
taiwan vr gave me that deep bad impact OKAY...

but few weeks back, my friend forced me down Japanese version. it got me stucked ever since and i cursed cursed and cursed and CURSED taiwanese version for inducing phobia refraining me from watching HYD.

u can try both dramas. HYD is short and sweet. Meteor Garden is draggy, fussy, try it if u have alot of time to waste.
for example, in Meteor Garden 2, Domyouji lost his memory for a few draggy episodes which irritated me so much i rather strangle myself.
acting wise, i sincerely prefer HYD. they are like bornt to be those characters.

p/s: sorry la..if somehow this post pisses u..but just my HONEST opinion. if u think Jerry, Van, Vic, Ken are the best..be my guests~~it's ur choice but it is also mine for "freedom of speech"
